Established on 15th June 2006, Thane Police School managed by the GOENKA & ASSOCIATES EDUCATIONAL TRUST opened its doors with a founding mission to provide quality education to children of police personnel. The school was developed as a co-educational institution offering education from pre-primary through secondary level. The school quickly built a strong academic foundation, introducing structured curricula, dedicated faculty, and a nurturing environment that set the tone for two decades of growth and achievement.

Currently the school offers education from pre-primary to Grade 10 under one campus. While the school earlier followed state board, it now follows the CBSE curriculum, focusing on a more structured and student-friendly academic approach.

Today, the school caters to around 3000 students, supported by experienced faculty and a consistent academic system. The focus remains on building strong fundamentals, clarity in learning and steady academic progress.

Alongside academics, the school also places importance on sports and physical development. With dedicated spaces and regular participation in activities, students are encouraged to build discipline, teamwork and overall fitness.

Overall, the school provides a balanced environment where students grow through academics, activities and values in a steady and supported manner.

About the Trust

Thane Police School is managed by the Goenka & Associates Educational Trust (GAET).
Across its institutions, GAET is guided by a simple belief:

Growing thinkers with purpose, passion and patience.

The Trust and the school’s approach to education rests on four core pillars:

People Before Systems

Relationships come first. Schools function best when students, teachers, & parents work in trust & mutual respect.

Real Learning

Understanding over memorisation. Clarity over shortcuts. Learning that stays with the child.

Right Environment

Safe, structured, & encouraging spaces where children feel secure enough to grow.

Honest Growth

Progress that is earned. Confidence built steadily. Success rooted in effort

These pillars guide everyday decisions  inside classrooms, on playgrounds, and within leadership.
